About Us

Co-owner/chef Thomas Kacherski and his wife Becky (co-owner/general manager) reopened Crew Restaurant and Bar in 2009. Together they created a casual eclectic-European style restaurant that is modern but steeped in tradition.

Thomas is a 2001 Culinary Institute of America (CIA) graduate who previously owned 96 Main in Poughkeepsie. Becky has flourished in the restaurant and hospitality business throughout the Hudson Valley. Together, they share a passion for dining excellence, fresh ingredients and professional service. Crew is designed to give guests a creative and fun dining experience that appeals to young professionals, romantic couples, families and friends of all ages.

Crew is devoted to local and fresh menu items - specifically Hudson Valley products such as duck, rabbit, goat cheese and many other organic, farm-raised ingredients. A farm-to-table philosophy dictates the seasonal menu and daily specials.

Crew's staff is highly trained and dedicated to the owners' visions. Many chefs are CIA trained (the Culinary Institute sends Crew chefs for it's externship program). Therefore, dishes are prepared by some of the best-trained chefs in the United States.
